DaliCMS is a "Web 2.0" ready CMS.
Apart from the functionality of a traditional CMS, DaliCMS contains functionality that allows the easy integration of external content.

Most of this external content can be integrated in your website using the WYSIWYG editor. This is done the same way internal content is integrated, by clicking the corresponding button in the toolbars:

• include a smiley
• include an image
• add an attachment here
• include a flickr badge
• add a Google Map
• add a Google Search box
• include a form here (you can create and manage forms using the Form plugin)
• add the contents of an external RSS feed here
• add your own blog contents here
• add a calendar here (created with the DaliCMS Calendar plugin)
• show the contents of a Sun WCAP Calendar
• paste content from a text document
• paste content from a Word document
  

As an example, the integration of external RSS feeds is shown below. This website is created with DaliCMS, and below, the titles of the entries on our Weblog at dalicms.blogspot.com are shown:

Apart from integrating external content, DaliCMS allows different types of user interaction. At this moment, modules exists for an integrated forum, messaging system and a chat-application.
